Hi there! My name is Bon Bon and just like my name I am as sweet as
can be! Well, I must apologize for that introduction but everyone
tells me how sweet I am so I couldn't help the pun. My previous family
found that they faced difficult times and could no longer keep me. I
am sad about that but I am an optimistic little dog and look forward
to a happy future. Eight years for a beagle is 8 years young, not old,
and I am in the prime of my life.

I am very friendly to everyone I meet and have been described as being
"great" with children. I also get on with dogs and even cats. I am
housetrained - of course! I am a lady after all.

I like pretty much everything except thunder. There is something about
thunder that is pretty scary. Speaking of liking everything - I am, as
my "comfortable" figure suggests, very partial to all foods. This is a
typical beagle trait and I will benefit from consistent walks and
exercise. However, being a beagle I love all the new smells on a walk
and should not be let off leash, in case I follow my nose and get
lost.

I would very much like to meet you, so please come by the shelter and
ask to take me for a walk. You will find me an interesting and loving
companion.
