UPDATE 10/21/08 - Lucy found a wonderful new home in New Jersey. Meilin applied specifically for Lucy because she was attracted to her story and felt she could provide a safe and loving home for her. Thank you, Meilin -- Lucy is a sweet little girl who will bring you much joy.

Little Lucy was found in a rainstorm by the side of a country highway. As soon as she was brought into the local kill shelter, she went into labor and delivered five puppies. Fortunately, they all went into a foster home where they were given plenty of TLC. Now, Lucy and her pups are available for adoption. Lucy is a sweet young girl who would be very happy as a companion to an active retiree or someone who is home a lot. She's been updated on vaccines, spayed, and given a dental. She'll be heartworm tested, and have urine and blood screens prior to placement. Check back for updates and new pictures once she's groomed.
