"MAJOR TISSUE ALERT"
This is Senior Head Anchor "Johnnie Be Good" reporting live from Pug Rescue Network
Headquarters.
I would suggest you go grab an entire box of kleenex to continue reading this story.
Pug Rescue Network had (20) Pugs in rescue before this grand little lady came in
yesterday.
The angels foster homes are busting at the seams, calls are coming in daily for
owner surrenders
with not one but two Pugs at a time needing help and there seems to be no end in sight.
A meeting of the "Seniors" was called. Could we make room on our snuggle balls for
her? Would we
be willing to share our kibble with her? Could we welcome her with extended paw and
make her feel
at home? Could we share our stories of rescue and ease her troubled soul? All paws
were raised in
an unprecedented "YES". On Saturday October 25, 2008 PRN#236 "Blossom" came home......
It is believed on October 14, 2008 Blossoms human Mom passed away and left for
heaven. No one knew
that Blossoms Mom had passed until their wonderful mail carrier lady became
concerned that the mail
was'nt being taken in and packages she had delivered earlier in the week were still
on the porch.
This wonderful lady found Blossom and her Mom that day and Blossom crying at her side.
Blossom had stayed by her Moms side for three days before they were found.
Blossom was then taken from her home and placed at the local animal shelter where
she remained for one week.
A news story was written about the wonderful mail carrier who found Blossom and her
Mom
they were trying to locate family members. Well, there were so many telephone calls
to the shelter
about Blossom that the shelter decided to auction Blossom off to the highest bidder!!
A wonderful lady who in our eyes is an "Angel" named "Sue" found out about Blossom
and her
plight, went to the shelter and for $50.00 Blossom was free. You see, Sue had met
Blossom and her
Mom before. One day Angel Sue stopped at a local fast food restaurant and there sat
Blossom eating a
hamburger with her Mom. Of couse Sue having two Pugs of her own stopped to see
Blossom (Pug people
are like that). She found out that Blossoms Mom had been sick and had'nt been able
to get out and
buy dog food for her and that was why Blossom was getting to eat a delicious warm
hamburger.
So, when the article came out about Blossom and her Mom, Angel Sue just had a
feeling that it
was the same little Pug girl she had met that day, and it was....
Before being transferred to PRN, Angel "Sue" was able to find Blossoms reqular vet
and took her
in to update her on her vaccinations and have her ears looked at. Blossom has a
terrible infection
in both her ears right now. Pug Rescue Network received all of Blossoms previous
medical records.
Blossoms Mom tried very hard to take care of Blossom through the years but in
reading her records
there were many times money was an issue for Blossoms Mom. After studying Blossoms
reco
