Lyra is an approximately 1 year old Bassett/Coonhound mix--she is approximately 30 pounds and a low rider.  She is housebroken, and receives high marks at the boarding kennel because she is clean in her kennel and does not tear up her bed.  She is wonderful with other dogs and well socialized around children.  If you like short hound dogs, you will like her.  Visit our site at http://www.heartwormproject.org/application   and complete an application today!  Our adoption fee is $150.00.
