Junior is adorable and a truly amazing dog! He is just under 2 years old. He's a medium-size, full-grown shepherd mix. Junior is an extremely well-behaved dog, 100% housetrained, no destructive issues and he has a best friend - a cat named Cali. Both are very happy, healthy and current on all of their shots. Junior is being neutered soon. Junior is great with kids, cats and other dogs. He and Cali have been raised together and have never been apart. It's bad enough they've lost their home and their family - it would be an even greater tragedy for them to lose each other too. We are trying to find them a home together. Junior is smart and very friendly. He loves everyone and everything. He's just a really good dog. Add two wonderful, loving pets to your family. If you're interested in both Cali and Junior, adoption fee is $65 total. Junior's adoption fee alone is $75.

Adoption Process:
Send an email to pawsforliferescue@comcast.net to tell us which pet you're interested in and we'll send you a questionnaire that will help us make the best match for you and your new pet. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the two-week trial run with the pet as part of your family. This is a trial period to give your dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the trial time and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption.
