Quinn is a 5 year old Shih Tzu rescued from a shelter. He was very frightened in the shelter and had no idea why he was there, but he tried to be "strong" for the other Tzu girl in the kennel with him who was so frightened she just stood there and shook. Thankfully we were able to save them and this sweet boy and his friend are now safe with us and a new, wonderful life awaits. Quinn is a very handsome boy, chesnut in color with a black mask and points.We affectionately call him "Butternut", you know like the squash? But he isn't too fond of that characterization! Unfortunately, not even our fabulous groomers could save his beautiful coat as he was so matted and had to be shaved. Regardless, you can see how darling he is. He is a short., compact, completely adorable little boy. He is quiet, sweet and very well behaved. He rides well in the car and is calm and friendly with other dogs. Quinn loves toys!! Absolutely adores them(see video). Stock up the toy basket before bringing this cutie home! This precious angel will be altered, brought UTD on shots, is HW negative and will be started on preventatives. 250.00 adoption fee applies, however any donation(tax deductible receipt available upon request) above our required fee is greatly appreciated and will go towards the care of the many animals permanently and temporarily fostered in our organization.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not have a "facility" for visiting our rescue pets. They are all in individual private foster homes. You must fill out an application and be approved before meeting the animal that you are applying to adopt. We do allow out of state adoptions to approved adopters who are willing to pick up their new pets in person.
