Hello, my name is Harris. I was found in Southwest Austin on Harris Drive (that is why my name is Harris). I wondered aimlessly for about 3 weeks on my own. I did ok but was hungry for food and love. The Travis County Animal Control came to get me but a nice lately rescued me once he told her that I would not be there long since Pit Bulls aren't kept in shelters. I found a great temporary home with a little boy who fell in love with me. I followed him around everywhere and even slept in his room at night. The only problem is they have 3 other dogs and can't keep me since they are renting their house. I am very sad to leave and need ONLY a WONDERFUL home with someone who will take ONLY GREAT care of me.

I am the kindest, most gentle Pit you will ever meet. I am about 5-6 years old and in good health. I am not a young pup anymore but still like to play ball in the back yard, but not too long. They say that pits don't like other dogs of the same sex however, I was around 3 other females and we got along great! We even shared our chew toys! Please think about taking me into your home. I will be the best pet you've ever had!
