GUEST DOG
Max is a Redbone Coon Hound, 2-3 years old. He was owned by a family that did not socialize him or the other dogs in the home and one day they moved out very abruptly and left him behind. Max was underweight and never socialized but has made a lot of progress. He has a good appetite and it has proven useful in training him. So far he can sit and stay and is working on waiting his turn. He is mostly housebroken but has a tendency to mark his territory if left unattended for long periods. Max is being treated for heart worms. He is up to date on all vaccines and will be neutered before being placed in a home. He is a very gentle dog who is anxious to be part of a family. He will make a good pet for a family who has time to spend with him and who has a lot of patience and room in their life for a sensitive fella . He is a climber and can get out of a yard so a tall and secure fenced is required.
