**JAPANESE CHESTNUT**
As autumn approaches we think of the rustle of changing leaves, long walks in the warmth of the sun on a brisk day, hot apple cider with spices, warm roasted chestnuts and an Akita curled at our feet, keeping them warm.......
Kuri is a perfect name for this beautifully rich-colored petite girl. A young (2-3 year-old) vibrant girl, she was found running the streets of Cleveland, Ohio. Kuri was wearing a brand new collar and had recently spayed, but sadly no one came to take her back home. Kuri is very sweet and gentle; she is also very focused on people. Add in a highly expressive face and lots of keeter kisses, and she just radiates charisma.
A polite girl, she takes treats nicely, loves to go for walks and meet new people. Highly food motivated, Kuri really tries to figure what you want her to do. We expect she will learn her lessons quickly. Our volunteers are learning more about Kuri each day and have begun her basic obedience training, so check back often for updates.
If you are looking for a friend to share the joys of autumn for years to come, and your toes long for the warmth of a furry keeter, contact Deanna OBrien at marsakita@sbcglobal.net or 773-594-9302, for more information on our autumnal loving Kuri.
