Adoption details

Cocoa is a female Husky mix that will turn two in November. She is dainty and petite and weighs about 45 pounds. She is housetrained and crate trained already. Cocoa is a wonderful and friendly dog. She was given up by her owner because they could not care for her, due to a job loss.

She has done well meeting other animals (dogs and cats) and is in a foster home with cats and other dogs (both large and small) and is getting along well with them. She likes children and had lived in a home with five children ranging in age from 2 to 15 years old. She likes to play fetch, play with toys, and run around. She is very good riding in a car. Her owned reported that she's a little nervous around vacuum cleaners and likes to bury toys and bones in the yard.

Cocoa knows some basic commands but the new owner will need to take some time to continue training her and give her plenty of play time. She's a lovely dog that will make a family very happy. Cocoa is searching for her forever home and a new family to love her.
