Hi! My name is Dingo. Or as my friends call me, Ding Dong. Not sure why. I'm a very smart girl. Maybe it's because I'm full of sweetness. I was rescued from a very bad area of town. I had just given birth to 5 puppies and I was literally starving to death. I didn't have enough strength to go look for food so I could nurse my babies. I'm so happy Stray Rescue came along when they did. Otherwise my family and I wouldn't have made it another day. I was a bit nervous when I first came to the shelter but that was because I was being a good momma and protecting my babies. But now that they've all gone into foster homes I can relax and just be a dog. I love my comfy bed at the shelter and the volunteers are so nice to me. They take me for walks, rub my belly, give me kisses and tell me all the time how beautiful I am. I would probably do best in a home with no other dogs. I haven't really had much exposure to cats, except for the ones at the vets office. And I really didn't care about them. I would love for you to fill out an adoption application so you can make arrangements to stop by the shelter to meet me. You'll be glad you did. I am also in need of a foster home until the right family comes along to adopt me.
