Adoption details

Diva is a blue and white, purebred Razor's Edge pit bull. She is 2 years old. She was rescued by animal control from a small outdoor kennel where she had been chained 24/7 along with a red male (purebred Gotti) pit bull. Diva and her pups were removed by animal control the day they were born and we rescued Diva and pups within a week of their birth. The pups have now found their forever homes but sweet Diva is still waiting for hers.

Diva, or DeeDee as she’s affectionately known, is a delight to be around. She’s had an unfortunate past, but she’s forgiving of all the neglect and loves to be w/people. She likes to ride in trucks and go for morning runs. She is playful and enjoys retrieving her ball. When she is happy to see you she is a talker and ‘yodler’.

DeeDee knows some basic commands; sit, down (w/food incentive), wait, drop it, no pull (when on a leash) and shake hands (for a treat). DeeDee has been around preschoolers and is gentle with them. She really likes to be around men. She is good with large dogs.

She really needs to be in a home where she can shower her love and affection on a forever family.

She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and heartworm tested (negative). Diva is looking for an indoor forever home only. A completed adoption application, $150.00 adoption fee, home visit(s), references, and contract are REQUIRED for adoption. We will not adopt to a municipality where pit bulls are illegal.

Our normal adoption restrictions include the following: you must be at least 25 years old to adopt this animal, must have a securely fenced in yard, and must own your own home. We will consider making exceptions to these requirements on a case-by-case basis so please email us if you have any questions.
