I have been fortunate to have some wonderful foster dogs over the years and Edie fits right into that category as she is a real sweetheart. I wish I had room to have her as an inside dog because she definitely would make a wonderful little house dog for any family. Edie is just shy enough at first meetings to grab your heart and then she has you hooked. She is such a sweet, loving dog who just adores people. She is very good with other dogs and doesn't mind sharing her toys, food or bed. She is very inquisitive about cats and would like to chase them but listens well when you tell her to leave them alone. We have no children for her to play with but I would imagine she would be good with them because she has such a sweet temperament. It is not known if Edie is housetrained but she seems very smart and attentive so she would probably learn quickly if she is not.

Edie is a small to medium sized dog and weighs 27 lbs. Her face and size suggest she might be part beagle so we think she is a beagle/hound mix.

Edie has been spayed and is up-to-date on her vaccines including bordetello and rabies. She did test slight positive on heartworms and has been started on recommended monthly treatment of Heartgard Plus heartworm tablets. She also has been microchipped.
