Ellie is a very smart, loving and a loyal companion. She has so much spirit and animation. She is about 3 years old. She is the traditional black and white. He coat has come in very shiny. Ellie likes to be where you are. I believe this is part of her loyalty.

Ellie is house trained and will either sleep in her kennel, on a dog pillow or if you like snuggle up next to you in bed. She has been bathed a few times and is very cooperative for that and her nail trim. She loves to be brushed too.

She loves toys of all sizes and shapes. She entertains herself easily. Ellie entertains herself with various balls, sticks and toys. She loves to hang out in the back yard where she either relaxes or romps around with her toys.

Ellie is very social with guests. She sits and comes on command. She has learned down and off as well. Her bark is limited to alerting me of new arrivals at the front door. Ellie is a good eater and doesn?t mind being pet while eating. Ellie knows to sit when she wants to be pet and she tries to make eye contact.

Ellie does show signs of herding but seems to understand that there isn?t anything here to be herded so she just enjoys being with her humans.

Ellie is a Black and White Border Collie around the age of 3 years. She has a wonderful disposition and gets along with everyone and everything. She comes to her name and is very faithful and attentive. She is house trained as well.

She currently weighs 30 lbs. and stands 16 inches. Her coat is a shinny black and bright white with a red undercoat. Her teeth are pearly white and her gums are in excellent condition. Ellie loves people and is very interested in their affection and praise. She knows commands. She sits to be pet and on command. Ellie walks very well on a leash and does not pull at all. We are teaching her down and off as well.

Ellie will sleep with you or in a kennel at night. During the day when no one is home she is content in a kennel as well. She knows it is her safe place.

Ellie will make an excellent pet for her new family. She is not a demanding dog, and loves being part of a family. I am still learning about her abilities so feel free to inquire with specific questions.

All of Ellie's vet work has been done. She has been heartworm tested negative, and is spayed, microchipped and current on all her shots. She is on heartworm preventative and flea/tick preventative.
