UPDATE: Jan. 3, 2009. Gabriel now weighs over 7 lbs. Gabriel is determined to never go hungry again, and is now quite chubby. After a life spent in an outside cage, Gabriel appreciates the comforts of home. Gabriel is a truly a little angel. This 5 lb, 8-9 year old spent his life at a puppymill, and was then dumped when he was no longer useful to them. Gabriel's jaw was broken in the past and healed crookedly, so he needs food to be a special texture in order to be able to eat. He arrived truly skeletal at 3 lbs, 12 oz, and literally gained 50 % of his body weight in two weeks having food available that he could grasp.
Gabriel was neutered and had a dental this week. With 12 teeth pulled, he now has only 3 teeth remaining. This is the sweetest, easiest little dog ever. He needs a quiet home with a retired person or couple. Gabriel's adoption fee is $300, which will go towards his dental.
