Meet Comet! Comet came to us from Ontario, Canada after being found in the country SHOT in the hind leg - he was just a baby at the time, only about 4 months old. He was brought to the vet and they removed several pellets and he had a month of healing time. There was no bone damage and nothing broken, what a lucky boy!! He has made a full recovery and the vets have given him a clean bill of health!

Like many rescue dogs, Comet's breed is not really known - but everyone who has met him agrees that he is an Australian Kelpie cross with possibly some shepherd. His new home should have no kitties as he wants to chase. Comet has plenty of energy, and a tremendous love to play play play!!!! He would gladly spend hours playing ball with his foster brother dog. Comet is a sweetheart, and is working on basic obedience. We believe he would make a fantastic agility dog or jogging/hiking partner for someone.
Comet is just over a year old, neutered and UTD on shots. He will be microchipped before going to his home.
