These little yellow lab babies are about 10 weeks old and are owner surrenders. There are 3 females (Aurora, Remi, and Kami) and one little boy(Chevy).
When Hurricane Gustav hit our shelter, the doghouse these babies were in was knocked off its wooden foundation and the poor little ones were soaked and terrified. Aurora, the tiniest puppy, started having difficulty breahing. The electricity and cell phones were all out, but we took her to our vet's home where he treated her for pneumonia, using the tailgate of the truck for an exam table and a flashlight to see.
Happily, she recovered completely. Now Aurora and her sisters and brother are waiting for that perfect forever home (preferably one with no hurricanes!) Can you open your home and heart to one (or more!)of these little angels?
