Astro!!

Hi, my name is Astro. I'm a 3 year old male Husky mix. If you look close you'll see that one of my eyes is half blue. My foster mom says I'm very easy to care for. I like to just hang out with her and lay down in whatever room she is in. I really love attention and when you're petting me I like to lay my head on you or lean up against you so that I can be really close. I like going for car rides and sticking my head out the window and I really like it when we go for our walks together. I also know basic commands like sit, down, stay,off and come and I'm potty trained. My foster mom also says she can trust me when she's not home so I don't need to stay in my crate anymore.

I was rescued as a stray from a high kill shelter and was really scared when my foster mom first found me. Now I feel really comfortable here but it took me a couple of weeks to really feel safe. I might get a little scared again in a new situation so I need to go a home with adults only who are patient and will take the time to work with me. I love meeting new people though when I go out and am always really friendly. I like kids too but only in passing or for a visit. I would be fine as the only dog but I also would do fine with another dog friend as well...no cats though...I like to chase them.

My foster mom says I've turned out to be a great boy...easy going, affection and loving...and she loves me very much but she says that she wants to find the perfect home for me!!! Could that be with you?

My adoption fee is $150.00, which includes current vaccines, sterilization, micro chipping and
I've been tested negative for heartworm!

I will try to be at the Roseville PETsMART Adoption center on Saturdays 11-2 p.m. (except some holiday weekends).
