My name is Lacey and I hope you will consider me for adoption! I am a bit older that we first thought, probably 12 years old, and I know weigh about 9 pounds.

I am doing very well now with my health. No one would ever know how sick I was for a while. I am so grateful to my foster mom and SCMR for taking such good care of me. I know I have cost them a lot of money, so that makes it even more special that they care so much for me and the other rescues they help!

My kidneys are working normally now, my heart is dong quite well, just have to take the laxix medicine and it does the job it's supposed to do! I do need to have medicines for my dry eyes, and I am usually okay about that as well.

I love to be held, I'm not to much into playing with my foster brothers and sisters. My hips just don't work quite as well as they used to. I like to be a bit independent, sitting my foster mom, watching TV. Oh and lets not forget that I am housetrained!

I know there is a forever home out there for me, the only thing is that I need to be placed in a home that is in north Florida or South GA. See ya!

Out-of-state adoptions are possible; however, the approved adoptive home is responsible for making the necessary arrangements to pick up their new little one.
