We are listing Sunny as a courtesy to a rescuer in Boulder, CO, where he is being fostered. Sunny is playful, sensitive, and strong-hearted red Australian Cattle Dog. He's loyal and is very much the one-person or one-family dog.Sunny loves experiencing life right by your side. Here's the thing. He was never socialized with other dogs and people in his early years, so he needs to be shown around this big planet for a while. He's not as shy as he used to be, but he still doesn't know how to handle every situation.

Sunny needs a strong leader; someone who understands cattle dogs' needs and temperament. Someone with patience and calmness. The best situation would be a person or couple with no dogs, or with one female dog; someone or two who has trained dogs before. Someone looking for a very loyal companion who is a lot of fun. Sunny's owners should be capable of the quiet internal strength needed for a dog like this.
