Yes, I'm the big brother to the puppy you see above me. I think I may be the 'prettier' one though. I mean who can resist my great looks and warm personality? The vet says we are a combination of pointer and some kind of bird dog. I don't know about my hunting skills but I do love to be outdoors. Rain, heat, bugs...they don't bother me. No sir!

My brother, Smokey and I were rescued from the local kill facility. We had been dumped together out in the middle of nowhere, and were picked up by the dog police when we got too close to a farmers chicken coop. It was Smokey's idea.... we were really, really hungry! Since coming here we now have a safe, dry and warm place to call home. But what we really need now are loving, forever homes.

Please have a fenced yard for me to play in while I grow into an obedient dog. Since I'm very smart, I'll only need your kind, reassuring words and patience to learn all those special dog tricks! I want a place to call home that's all mine. It would be great if Smokey could come with me. Or we could always get together for a playdate sometime! Whatcha think? Is there room in that big house of yours for me? I promise to be a loving, happy dog you'll treasure for years and years to come. May I please come home with you, forever?
