SHASTA is an adorable little girl, with a personality to match! Her colors are brindle and white. Shasta is a 3-1/2 yr old, 42 pound, spayed Akita/Boxer mix. She is heartworm negative and up to date on vaccinations. Shasta gets along well with other dogs, but has not been around cats (although we suspect she could be ok with them). She has a 'mild' and very 'GENTLE' personality and would be a great little companion. She loves to cuddle! She loves toys! She walks well on a leash and LOVES to go for walks! Presently, she has to live outdoors because there are indoor dogs that will not allow a new dog into the house. Shasta may or may not need potty training. She is a 'talker'... saying 'woo-woo-woo' all the time. She is a REAL joy and a special little girl. Shasta finds young children to become annoying after being around them for a while, so we are looking for a home with no children under 8 yrs old. 

Shasta is spayed, up to date shots, heartworm neg. and on prevention. Shasta will be adopted to an inside-only home. Fence preferred. References, vet checks and home visits required. The adoption fee of $150 is used to help other rescued dogs like Shasta.
