Lucy is a 5 year old female. She will be spayed and chipped. UTD on shots. No cats. She lived with a submissive dog for 3 years but has not in awhile so will need a home where she is the only pet or a submissive male dog companion. Proper neutral intro required. Kids 10+. She is shy with new people so will need a patient and kind new owner to bring her out of her shell. 45lbs. Needs continued leash work and is house broken. Sweet and affectionate once she is comfortable and loves human interaction. She is playful but has a rough playstyle. Loves squeaky toys and treats. Likes short car trips but will get sick on longer runs. Energetic and smart. Loves walks and is a good watch dog and great at keeping pesky critters out of the yard. She has food and skin allergies and will need to remain on IVD venison and potato formula. She also gets a cortisone shampoo bath with a light peppermint tea rinse to sooth her skin. Highly allergic to fleas so will need to be on a monthly preventative. Will bark and dig if bored. Can be stubborn and fearful. Is not fond of nail trims and grooming so will need a professional touch. Knows her basics and some tricks and please have a fenced yard. Application and home visit required. Adoption fee is $200.
