FROM THE SHELTER:

Well hello! My name is Mr. Dudley a 5 year old tricolor beagle boy. You can call me Dudley, Dudders, Duds…I’ll wag my tail to pretty much all of them! You can also call me one handsome beagle boy.. Did you check out my speckles? I have what they call “ticking” all over my chest and legs. It’s pretty cute, if I do say so myself. AZBR rescued me from the county shelter and I have now been with them for quite a while. I’m not really sure why no one has wanted to adopt me yet. I am a pretty cool little guy!

Sometimes I act quite goofy. I do a funny little dance with my foster mom before dinner time. It’s a very exciting time for us beagles, you know. If you’re an adventurer, I could be the beagle for you! I love going new places, riding in cars, and the dog park is the BEST! Hanging my head out of the window and letting my ears flap in the wind makes me one happy beagle. I am what you could call a low maintenance dog. I really do not require a ton of attention. I’m happy just being in the same room with you. I sleep happily on my own bed next to foster parent’s bed at night, but can sleep just fine in a kennel too.

I am a well behaved boy. I don’t have any destructive habits. I am completely house trained. I’m also not much of a barker. I do like to protect my house and my family. So, I will alert if there is a strange noise. I’d probably be happiest as an only dog. My foster family has several other dogs here as well as cats. I seem to be just fine with the cats! But, I don’t like it when the dogs come into my bubble. I just do a lot of talk though. I absolutely love having other dogs to play with outside my house though, which is why the dog park is so great. I have allergies that are easily controlled with medication three times a week.
