Greetings!! I am Princess Leia, a really beautiful 7 year old female tri-color beagle. I am one really sweet, affectionate dog. I know a lot of commands: sit, stay, rollover, come, and most of the basic doggy tricks. I enjoy getting lots of attention with my favorite being tummy rubs. I am a tall beagle in great shape – I love to run around the yard and play ball.

I was turned over to Arizona Beagle Rescue because my family could not take care of me properly. I had some skin allergies and needed help to get my skin condition cleared up. I am sure this was hard for my family to let me go but they did the right thing by coming to AZBR to help me out and find me a forever home. I am just fine now and love my new diet which does not contain wheat, corn, or rice and keeps my skin free from allergies.

Although I'm not one to get into mischief like those young pups out there, I am not good with cats but love other dogs and kids. I do need you to be firm with me because I do get excited when you come home and want to jump on you! That's why I need to be with kids who are older than 8 - I just love them but I can knock over little ones! My foster mom is working with me every day on training. I have just one awesome personality and am one smart cookie! So, if you are looking for a great big happy gal like me, please consider me to come home with you.
