Blackie is a wonderful boy who is a Katrina Survivor. HIs family was located, but they decided they no longer wanted him, so he's been with his foster home for over a year now.

Blackie looks like a big Schipperke. He weighs about 35 pounds.Blackie is current on vaccinations, has been neutered, and is ready for his new home.
He's been waiting patiently for his owners to come get him, but they no longer want him. I can't imagine why. He is very sweet. He needs at least a 6 foot fence, as he is an escape artist. He is learning basic obedience, but needs a bit more. He gets along with other dogs.
This could be a real rags to riches story and I hope he gets the chance to over-come his past.
