Pictures taken 3/22/08. Marble showed up as a stray malnourished about one week ago from the pictures being taken. He has a submissive personality, is extremely sweet, and is in need of finding a new home. His eyes are marbled with Blue and Brown.

The family that was feeding him already have 2 dogs, and would like to find him a good place that will take care of him. They have tested him around their cat and he runs from the cat. Their neighbors have small breed dogs and he does great around them. He also travels well.

4/9/08 Marble was hit by a vehicle while at the home that found him, which broke his back left leg. The Gresham vet clinic had some bone plates donated and he had surgery on 4/10/08. The x-rays showed numerous pellets from a shotgun embedded under his skin. This poor guy needs a loving home after all he has been through. His leg is showing excellent progress in healing.

We have had several opinions on his breed. I first thought maybe American Staffordshire Terrier, and some opinions thought Pit Bull, but 5/17/08 I found a picture on a Shar Pei Rescue site that Marble resembles a lot.
