Ellie Riggs is a special lady that has been waiting for a home for a while. Before Ellie arrived here, she sat at an animal control for months, being passed over for a home because she is a little black dog and isn’t one of those fancy “puppies” so many people seemed to want. She may be 10 years old, but she’s got a lot of life in her with the energy of a younger dog. She is a happy dog that loves people and attention. Ellie is a tall Dachshund mix and she weighs 18lbs. This sweet girl is ready for a forever home!

Ellie is on medication for the rest of her life. She is doing great on it, but it's expensive.
