Jennifer has over 20 years of hands-on experience working with dogs and families in a wide variety of environments. She is no stranger to the competitive show ring but now prefers to focus on behavior within the family dynamic. She is a graduate from Kutztown, University with a B.A. in Special Education with an emphasis on behavior. Jennifer combines her love of working with dogs and children into one career that is dedicated to safety and fun!

Jennifer is the pet behavior expert at www.pregnancy.org and www.ClubMom.com and has been featured in publications such as the Wall Street Journal and Dog Fancy Magazine on child/dog related topics. Jennifer has been a regular guest on many radio programs.
Staying up to date in the field of dog behavior is a priority and Jennifer maintains active memberships with several professional organizations. She is a founding and certified member of The International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and a professional member of The Association of Pet Dog Trainers. Jennifer is also a consultant for Karen Delise, founder of the National Canine Research council, and author of The Pit Bull Placebo and Fatal Dog Attacks.
Jennifer has always enjoyed supporting new parents as she has been a Nursing Mother's Counselor since 1996. Jennifer is also a member of the Triangle Birth Network to keep up to date on childbirth related resources and topics. The Dogs & Storks program combines all of her passions into one great career.
The Shryock family includes Jennifer, husband Joe and their three children, Andrew, David and Kayleigh. Jennifer is expecting their fourth baby July 2009. Family companions include Carin, (German shepherd / Husky), Bailey (Siberian husky) Duke (German shepherd) and Windsor (Pit bull) along with 5 felines. The Shryock family has fostered over 70 dogs and many cats over the last 8 years. This allows for many hands on learning opportunities for all.
Formal education, life experiences and passion has led Jennifer Shryock to creating a successful program that will impact the lives of many families.
