Diane started her training business in Los Angeles, CA, then moved to Seattle and started Diane Rich Dog Training, LLC. Diane is known for thinking outside the box when presented with challenging behavioral problems. Diane offers private training and starts her puppy
programs at 7 or 8 weeks of age at the owner's home. Healthy, calm dogs are brought to the owner's residence to begin the socialization process early on. Her group puppy classes begin at 10 weeks of age.
In addition to dog training, Diane volunteers with her registered therapy dogs at hospitals and nursing homes where they try to bring comfort to those individuals who may benefit from the healing powers of a dog offering unconditional love. Diane is a licensed evaluator for Delta Society and offers pet therapy training classes and team evaluations for those handlers wanting to give back to their community by volunteering
their team's time and heart to those who could benefit by the company of a loving dog.
Diane started a pet therapy visitation program at Overlake Hospital in Bellevue, WA and is the volunteer coordinator for that successful program.
Diane has been a featured expert for local news, lifestyle television and radio and hosted a radio call in show about pets on KVI in Seattle.
Diane is currently owned by 2 Dobermans and 1 cat. As we board some of our client's dogs we can easily be owned by a variety of breeds.
