Kathy Santo's love of dogs started at an early age. By the time she was in her late teens, she was training and competing nationally in obedience trials with her golden retriever "Opal". Within two years she had risen to the top of the sport, winning national tournaments and regularly topping the annual rating systems and teaching competitive students across the U.S. and Canada.
