“Hi all
Becka wrote avoid all raw vegs; My pup has been chewing on mini carrots since she was 6 months, she's now 16 months. Yes it does not get digested mostly but has not affected her, she enjoys the chewing & in my opion carrots are better then processed rawhide! 2nd - Read the ingredents from your holistic/natural food packages. They CONTAIN vegies! Stop being a hipocrit! People like Jamie Wolf say all people food are bad for dogs; but vets recomend boiled ground beef and/or cottage cheese for upset stomaches & direia of dogs! Are these Vets psychos? or just misguided professionals. Come on live in reality! Strawberries can kill some humans; FDA & you dog people do not put strawberries on the toxic list for humans!!! BE CONSISTANT!!!!!

“If you are looking for pure and healthy whole food diets for your dog companion, then look no further. Paw Naturaw produces America's first lines of USDA certified organic, raw, frozen and freeze-dried diets for dogs.
Paw Naturaw presents a new paradigm in providing healthy food for pets by focusing on the optimal nutrient needs of canines and fulfilling these needs by blending together the purest and highest quality ingredients possible. Paw Naturaw uniquely sources live animals for its organic meats as locally as possible from certified organic and documented family farms, humanely transports the animals to federally inspected processing facilities, processes the animals for human consumption, and produces each diet in its own, newly erected, USDA certified organic, FDA registered, manufacturing facility built to LEED green specifications in Lake Mills, WI. Paw Naturaw avoids using grains and leftovers from the human food industry such as high bone content ingredients like necks, frames, backs, and wings, and formulates its diets with popularly understood supermarket definitions of meat rather than pet food definitions of meat of which include the esophagus, diaphragm, tongue, blood, sinew, overlying portions of fat, and other lesser quality protein sources. You also mention "human grade" ingredients. This adjective is one of many terms completely abused, unregulated, and manipulated by marketers in the pet food industry. Many companies particularly in the raw frozen pet food industry will label the high bone content ingredients such as picked over chicken carcasses as human grade. Technically it is still human grade, but it dishonestly conjures up a mental image of a product a human would eat. Beyond simply featuring the best ingredients possible each Paw Naturaw diet is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for All Life Stages.”

“ooh, you are so very wrong about your science diet- its loaded with yucky stuff- read deeper and see. Problem with that "science" is lots of scientific chemicals that we couldnt possibly interpret, unless of course we have a chemical engineering degree - i couldnt disagree more with your logic- just because the vet sells it doesnt mean its the BEST! have you ever had a doctor ask you what you eat, or even CARE for that matter? . Also, raw vegetables are VERY good for dogs- especially the green ones, like beans, broccoli and even baby carrots. holistic foods have been researched much more safely than the "scientifics" without using dogs and animals as "guini pigs" too !!”
