Dog owners can show their support for cancer awareness and research on August 24, 2013, as the American Cancer Society, DogTime.com, and a host of other sponsors present the annual Bark For Life event at Golden Gate Park’s Hellman Hollow in San Francisco.
Interested parties can register online prior to, or in person at, the event. You can register as an individual, start a team of your own, or find an already existing team. All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations and be on a leash.

Plus, dog owners who think their pooch is the most adorable can put it to the test with the My Dog Is Cuter contest. Two dogs will be selected as winners from the nominees, with voting slated to take place online and at the event. Visit the My Dog Is Cuter page for more information.
