I am on the other end of this discussion. My dogs are outside dogs and they bark and howl, not because they are bored or not taken care of. There are a lot of animals in my neighborhood rabbits, deer, & foxes which leads to them barking and howling. If they hear something or see something they bark. When the sirens go off whether it be an emergency vehicle or the tornado sirens they howl. Everytime I HEAR them I get up and tell them to be quiet. I don't always hear them. I don't know what they are seeing. My blue heeler is very protective of his backyard. I wish my neighbors would tell me if they are having problems so I we could resolve this but instead they choose to call the police. Now I have a warning and the next time it is court and I don't even know what is bothering them. Is it cause they don't like animals or are my animals barking ALL THE TIME? I'm not clueless to the fact that my dogs bark, I'm well aware of it they are dogs. I would've really appreciated it if my neighbors talked to us first. We are trying to fix it but they would never know cause they never bothered to talk to us which is not fair either.
