Give him at least an hour of exercise per day, and the Vizsla will be your best friend. But, if you're still undecided about getting yourself a Vizsla, why don't you try this website's matchup test. It will help you find a dog that will best fit your personality and lifestyle. Happy doggie searching. Here's the link http://dogtime.com/matchup/start over 1 year ago by marthalazier
I LOVE the breed, my dad has 4 of them - They are VERY active and he hunts them regularly and lots of ball in the back yard - They can be very loving and couch potatoes, but not usually - When looking for one, I would look for one from show lines vs. hunting lines, they should be a little less active ... I hope this helps you a little over 1 year ago by sjohn26
The Vizsla is described as lively, gentle, and affectionate, with above-average learning ability and a strong desire to be with people. He's known for being biddable, but there are always exceptions--some Vizslas can be stubborn, excitable, or shy. They are energetic and athletic, that's why the best home for a Vizsla is one in which someone is there during the day to keep him company and give him the activity and mental stimulation he needs. Vizslas are really nice: Smart, obedient, affectionate, loyal. However, they do require a whole lot of exersize to keep them happy. over 1 year ago by Wags&Woofs
I love my Vizsla! Please be sure to take him out of the yard somewhere where (s)he can really get out and run. They need it. Mine often goes on long walks with me and I he LOVES the 12-acre dog park and pond. A bond with a Vizsla is a very special one. Congratulations. over 1 year ago by Brooke
