I RECENTLY BOUGHT A CARIN TERRIER AND HES NOW 4 MTHS OLD .. HE JUST STARTED DRAGGIN HIS BUTT AROUND I CHECKED FOR WORMS AND NOTHHING IS THIS NORMAL

his anal glands are full. take him to a groomer or a vet to have them released. if you don’t get it done then they can become impacted and be a big problem.

i read you can clean them glands yourself.i dont know how to do it,my mom tried it and nothing happened.

It could be anal glands..it could be he has an itch…I would have the anal glands checked. Anal glands usually express themselves when the dog has a bowel movement, but if the stool is not firm enough this can contribute to overly full glands. Some dogs need regular anal gland expression, some only occasionally, and some never. If you are interested in doing them yourself as the vet to show you the proper way to do it, done wrong can cause some nasty issues. And by the way, it is a gross stinky procedure..so don’t feel badly if you just let the vet do it..lol.
