Our local animal shelter is overflowing with Pits and most will be euthanized. “DONT BREED AND BUY WHILE SHELTER DOGS DIE.”

I agree. Please consider rescuing instead. Animal shelters are full of great looking pit bulls that are people and dog friendly and are in training to become pit bull amassadors. I volunteer at my local Humane Society and we have too many great pit bulls that need loving homes. Many shelters provide training classes for pit bulls adoptees. My pit is a rescue and he is the cutest most lovable dog I have ever known.

I Have two pis and one is 8 years old and was saved from fighting and the other is 6 months old. I have better luck training the rescued pit than the one I bought. I have other dogs in my house as well and they are of other breads. I would recomend getting a rescued one. Me and my husband are getting ready to start a re-intergration program for fought, abused and abandond pits, also becomming part of the ambassador program. IF you are looking for a life long compannion that will be there with you through thick and thin than I would get a Pit.

Yeah, I agree with you clhaugen. Please do check this out. Maybe, one of those dogs is waiting for the right owner…..
