Are there any other doxie lovers on this forum? I can’t believe it! I don’t know what I would do without my babies…and Lexi, Libby, and Halo are about to bless us with litters soon. We’re so excited!!!
I look forward to hearing from more doxie lovers!!!

Yes, I am out here. I rescued my Mini-Doxie from being “put down” by her previous owners. I worked for the Vet they used, he had done xrays and bloodwork in an attempt to find the reason behind her mysterious ailment the owners were describing. He could find nothing. So I asked the owners if I could take her and they agreed. I took her everywhere with me including work at the clinic. What I observed “on occasion”, is what appeared to be Partial Epiletic siezures. She had one while at the clinic and I told Doc to take a look. sure enough, we seemed to hit the nail on the head!! We put her on medication once daily, and you can guess the rest being a Doxie owner—she is just fine now. Her name is “Sadie” better known as “The Baby”. All four of my other mixed breed (rescues) dogs just adore her. She is so clever, high energy etc. Always up to something. Even when these Doxies are at rest, they are planning on being up to something. These little dynamo’s are not for everyone, but they are great dogs. I hope to have her around for a long time to come.

I love my mini doxie she is 15 years old. She likes to go camping and chase the cat and birds. I don’t know what I would do without her!

My tweenie 15lb doxie turned 5 today. I know that I am totally hopeless because I bought him a birthday card. Yep, I sure did. His brother Dingo, half dachshund half chihuahua had celebrated his birthday today too. We really don’t know when he was born, but decided it was more fun for the both of them this way. The got a singing/ dancing dachshund and some rubber duckies to play with in the pool, but then they had a fight over the cat food and chased a raccoon under our deck so the party ended early. Oh well, I hope the next years go by much slower.

My mini doxies are so special to me.I have 3 full blooded doxies ,and two half breeds.two of the full blooded are proud parents of 5 very active puppies 1 boy and 4 girls. They are all very smart . The male seems to know exactly what you are saying, and talks back to you.I don’t know what I would do without my fur babies.
