Hi JuLiA,

A puppy eats a lot of food. From birth up to six months of age, he’ll need to eat two to four times as much as an adult dog to support all that growth.

Hope this one helps.

In general, you should follow the guidelines on the back of the bag of dogfood, and adjust up or down depending on your puppy’s appetite and body condition.

Btw, What is his breed? It may also depend on the breed of your pup.

Hi,

Aside from feeding your pup the right food nutrition that he needs, you may want to give him also some treats that he can enjoy. Check out this link to see the top treats:

Our vet suggests leaving food out for the pup and letting him/her decide how much she needs. We did this with our most recent pups until they were about 3 months old and then began to feed them twice a day based on what the puppy food bag said and adjusting as we saw what the pup actually ate.

Certain nutrients are required by the dog’s body for energy, growth and maintenance. Check out this link.
