hi i’m getting a chihuahua soon and i wanna know what to feed my dog when to feed her and how much because there such small dogs i don’t wanna over or under feed them

is the chihuahua your getting a puppy?


Recommended daily amount: 1/4 to 1/2 cups of high-quality dry food a day

Hi,

A puppy eats a lot of food. From birth up to six months of age, he’ll need to eat two to four times as much as an adult dog to support all that growth. Check out this links to know more about feeding a puppy:

I am chihuahua owner myself..three of them as a matter of fact….with one being the mother and the puppy which is going on 7 months….both under 5 lbs.

I place about a 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup and let them eat as much as they want for the feeding.
