does anyone feed a rottie or any other dog raw eggs? |
|

Hi! Eggs are a good source of protein or essential amino acids that help the growth, maintenance, reproduction and repair of the basic building blocks of your dog’s body. However, raw egg white should not be fed to dogs as it contains avidin, an anti-vitamin, which binds biotin from egg yolk but if your dog is crazy about eggs, you can prepare them all sorts of way: boil, poach, fry sunny side-up; scrambled, etc. For more tips on the proper nutrition for your dog, click on the link below: |

Yep! We have two Rotties (and other dogs). We also raise chickens, so the eggs are readily available. We feed them raw mixed with their regular dog food. We have had no problem with this. |

I feed raw, whole eggs, shell and all, a few times a week. I will sometimes freeze them as well. |
