Where did you get her from? How old is she. A dog that doesn’t eat is a sign of something is wrong, either stress , anxiety, or illness. Talk to the people you got her from. They should have given you some kibble the dog is used to eating so that you can either continue to feed the same kind or choose another brand and then you can mix it in for the transition. If this is a puppy, please contact your vet. A puppy cannot go without food for long. Is she drinking? Has she went to the bathroom since you got her? Don’t know what you mean abouth the shower everyday? Call your vet… they may suggest you bring her in for a checkup. You can also try a little chicken broth, a little at a time. But not knowing what is wrong, I do not want to misinform you. Seek your vet’s advice. They all have 24 oncall services. |

Hi amian.. Loss of apetite i a sign of depression.. Try paying more attention on her, maybe she’s just bored. Take her to a walk outside, go to parks or to places where she can be interested. If your dog isn’t bouncing back, and if she’s losing weight or acting generally unresponsive to play and activity, it’s time for a checkup with the vet, who may run some blood work to be sure there’s not an underlying medical condition. Or your vet may prescribe an antidepressant, either for a short time or long-term. I’m not sure about your pup’s condition but you can try browsing this site to keep you inform on what to do regarding your dog’s condition… http://dogtime.com/depression.html |

I agree with everyone so far….I also think you shouldn’t bath her everyday. Once a week or bi-weekily. I hope she is doing well. Please let us know how she is doing. |

I give Gigi weekly baths and she has a beautiful shiny coat. It also depends on what kind of coat your dog has it can also be monthly. You need to look up your dog’s breed and how to groom her. |
