Healthy coat, clean teeth that don’t rot or smell, no anal gland problems, significant reduction in the incidences of bloat (important in Danes), elimination of many food-based allergy problems, which can eliminate chewing, hair loss and stained fur, better energy, fewer problems with joint disease or arthritis, fewer problems with autoimmune disease, small poop that does not smell. Just to name a few… |

Despite their growing popularity, raw food diets for your dog may actually pose a threat to your dog’s health. According to a study published in the November/December 2003 issue of the Journal of the American Animal Hospital Association, raw foods can be a source of the potentially deadly Salmonella infection. |

The dogs diegestive tracks and saliva are much different than that of humans. Not to mention that it has been proven that even dogs who eat kibble also pass salmonella in their stool. |

The benefits of the raw meat diet are: no diabetes, less risk of arthritis, shiny coat and healthy skin, no doggy odor, cleaner teeth and gums, no anal gland impaction, less risk of infected ears, kidney disease, cancer risk and a long list of diseases, can be avoided, less backyard clean-up, and fewer vet bills. Shall I go on? Check out the info at the Know Better Dog Food Company. |

I have never heard of a raw feeding giving anyone salmonella BUT they are finding a lot of people getting Salmonella from kibble. Please Read this http://www.nbc10.com/health/16301979/detail.htm… does that say about the kibble they are selling oh and the recalls. |
