I’ve loved the Newfies I’ve met, but a friend told me his Newfie had her first hip surgery at 6 months old, and has had several more surgeries since. She’s 11 now and has a really hard time getting around. |

I have had 6 Newfies and of the 6 only 1 has had hip problems. He has a lot of problems but we knew that when we got him. The breeder we got him and his sister from is questionable. The others I got from TLC Newfoundlands in Ohio and they are wonderful. We have the utmost respect for her and the wonderfuljob she does with her Newfies. BTW, they are a wonderful dog. |
