Rent a dog?

Luna 113 posts	How do members of this site feel about “renting” a dog? I was reading about it in Newsweek, I am not considering it, I just wanted to get an idea of people’s feelings. On one hand, the people who are renting dogs understand owning a dog is a huge responsibility and prefer to do it this way. On the other hand, this must be emotionally harmful for the dogs. jpanther IL 3 posts	I feel it has good intentions but could definitely be emot. harmful to dogs. I do like the idea though as kindof a “test drive” before you buy, but not as a business in itself.
Aug 9, 2008 11:28am Raspberries 60 posts	Hey Luna, my opinon on the renting idea is… To be honest I think, as jpanther said, has good intentions, but I can’t image what the dogs go through each day… Being in a new enviroment every 24hrs or so, wow, I think that could cause so much emotional stress in the dog. Though, I guess it’s better than purchasing a dog, with little or no thought and, later giving it up… – Raspberries.
