Name my Dachshund

Hi Rhonda,

My new puppy is Zoe…the name is a hard and important choice! Some of the names I considered were Peanut, Happy, and Riley but I think it’s a very personal choice. I think there is a name finder on the web somewhere…good luck and congrats on your new puppy!!!

I just thought if you want a precious name Fergie is a duchess in england, sounds grand i think just perfect for a dachshund

Hi, the way you describe her, she sounds really cute and special. Why not name her Carmela or Carmie after her color? There are suggestions though on this site but there are no set rules on what kind of names are best fitting for your breed. Take Vanessa Carlton’s name for her dachshund: Lord Victor.
