Did Tammy Grimes cross the line when she took a suffering dog out of a stranger’s backyard? Or did she do the right thing, no matter what the law says? |

Tammy Grimes did the right thing on behalf of a suffering dog. It’s people like Tammy that make a difference. Her sacrifices will always be remembered by me and I will contribute to her non-profit organization to help other dogs in this same position. |

Tammy is a heroine. We see it all too often in our area too that animals are chained out without ever realizing they are living, breathing creatures. Yeah, maybe it’s “just a dog,” but it could very easily be “just a child.” These are lives and we all are accountable to what we, as the higher human species, do to alleviate pain and suffering. I would do exactly the same as she did. Bravo to Tammy for making a stand. |

CRAZY: now the judge is attempting to charge Grimes for her community service. She’s got to pay $1500 to complete her sentence. What is going on? People of Pennsylvania, contact the governor or your representative and let them know this is a travesty. |

I think this is one of those times where a person just followed her conscience. When you have a deep passion for people or animals you really aren’t faced with a choice in situations like this…you just do what you know is right. I think her punsihment was way too severe! |

Laws are supposed to be set up to help and protect people (and animlas). This is an obvious case where the law has actually hurt that cause. |
