we have a pug which is 12 years old at night she will let out a welp like she is dying. She has a lot of trouble breathing both before and after. She does a lot of coughing and can not breath. We have been to the vet done blood work and all is fine. Do not know what is her problem, what can we do? Help!

Pugs are short nosed dogs and do have breathing problems even when young dogs. Has your vet done heart tests as it might be heart failure? Or some sort of cardiac problem?

Some Pugs suffer from a variety of allergies, ranging from contact to food allergies. Have you looked at this page that lists a pug’s potential health conditions?
