I am not ashamed to admitt it that my dogs sleep in my bed with my husband and myself. They are as much a part of the family as my daughters where. They are married now with their one animals and believe it or not their animals sleep in there beds. A funny thing one daughter has rabbits and they have full run of the house. It may be a different story if our dogs were bigger but they are Chihuahua X. During the day if I have a snooze one dog sleeps on my side on the lounge and the other on the cushion beside me. But I am happy with the situation my husband just has to cope. And the other reason is I could not spoil my daughters when they were growing up so I have two wonderful dohs that I spoil and I am proud of it. |

My dogs also slept with me when they were alive I had Miniature Dobermans they were the greatest dogs. They’re about the same size as Chihuahuas. I miss them so much. I had three but now I only have one named Diamond and it lives with my mother. I plan on getting another dog soon to share my bed with :D. |

For me it’s fine. As long as you treat your dog with love and kindness, and respects the house rules and boundaries you’ve set—sleeping in your bed shouldn’t cause a problem. Check this link of some of the circumstances not to let dogs sleep in your bed. |
