Dear dog people,

11 years ago, I was diagnosed bipolar. After therapy and antidepressants, it wasn’t until God sent down my furry little angel that I began to heal. Ozzy was a 6 week-old, black lab puppy. And he only came with one side effect: Unconditional Slobbery Love.

After Ozzy helped save my life I wanted to help other people who were battling with depression so I decided to write a book about our experience. It’s caled PUPPY CHOW IS BETTER THAN PROZAC. please check out our website for a free excerpt and some adorable photos of Ozzy.

But for this forum, I’d love to hear your stories about how your furry antidepressants help you. And I know everybody who has a dog know exactly what I’m talking about.

Woof!
Much Puppy Love!

Sounds like an excellent book I’m sure I’ll have to pick that one up. I agree they are better than prozac. It’s amazing how when you’ve had a bad day they always know and are there to cuddle and love you or doing something silly just to make you laugh. My girl Roxie loves to do her bucking bronco routine and chase her tail when I get sad and it never fails to have me laughing. She’s such a little doll and my boy Beau is just a little love bug, he’s always up for a snuggle.
